I-1351 Qualifies for the November Ballot

The Washington State Secretary of State’s office today will certify that Initiative 1351, known as the “Lower Class Sizes for a Quality Education Act,” has qualified for the November general election ballot. I-1351 would cut class sizes for students in all K-12 grades and improve Washington State’s national ranking, currently 47th out of 50 states for class size. read more

Unprecedented effort is clear sign of momentum to reduce class sizes: Yes on I-1351/Class Size Counts today submitted over 325,000 signatures to Washington’s Secretary of State to reduce class sizes for K-12 public schools across the state.
