We’re excited the latest ballot returns show Initiative 1351 has passed. Washington’s class sizes are 47th in the nation, and a majority of voters agree that is unacceptable. They believe our kids deserve better. All along, the I-1351 campaign has focused on the needs of our children. We’d like to thank all of the voters and supporters who understand the importance of providing our students with the personal attention they deserve. By passing I-1351, the Washington voters are sending a strong message to the Legislature about investing in our kids and making public education a priority.
